With a nod and thanks to Carole King.....

I couldn't let goodguy get a step on me embarrassed_smile.gif I ordered a fine point Georgie Shaw from Bertram's Inkwell (since I bought it I figure it's okay to be on a first name basis with my pen). I am travelling all next week so it won't grace my collection until the end of the week. Ahh, the count down begins. Just can't wait to have the green laquer and platinum in my hands.

Oooh the anticipation

I liked it, but it didnt move me like I thought it would. I dont know, I really wish it was sterling silver and Celluloid. Dont get me wrong, it was very nice, and I am sure I will own one at some point, but with so many must have pens on my list. I need to try to stick to the ones "I cant live with out"

I am absolutely loving mine, it is so comfortable, though as my writing is rather poor I might exchange the nib for a fine,

I really like this pen, too. Saw it in person in the airport in Charlotte. Tried haunting all the usual places to get a better price and finally found it on Craig's list in San Diego! It arrived yesterday--all 3 pieces at a great price and just gorgeous...still sealed! se
ller posted it as an unwanted gift...wow, somebody knows how to bestow a present! What a lucky find...I really like the pencils the best so I end up having to buy the set to get the pencil. I always say I will sell off the two pens and end up keeping them anyway. the f. scott fitzgerald is my favortite pencil, though.

Congrats on the purchase, I hope you will post photos. If you would like some one to sell the odds on to, I may be interested if the price is right.
