Is the 3968 Osmiridium Sunburst nib in a broad a rare nib? I have never seen one before. How do these 3xxx nibs write in comparison to the more common ones?

Thanks.

I was waiting for someone with actual experience with the Sunburst nibs to come forward, but I guess they aren't available presently. I therefore have only opinion to offer, not having any or ever have used any (I have lusted over one or two though).

I would think that they are fairly rare. I haven't seen any - well perhaps one on the 'Bay, and I would expect the price to be $20 - $30 for one. (just a guess).

Anyone out there with one MIB and willing to part with it for $20, just PM, and it's sold. smile.gif

Gerry is right, the sunburst 3XXX series run around $25 - $35 when you find them. I have a few, but I'm not ready to sell. I may never be

Try putting a WTB in the marketplace. That's how I got mine. (Well, not at FPN, but you get the idea)

You have a few - like more than one??? ohmy.gif drool.gif

I'm insanely jealous Elaine... <_<

So, how do they write?

Are they tipped?
