Greetings All,

At the risk of heresy, I'd like to ask if anyone else here uses a felt-tip pen with their moleskine?

Actually, I'm using a razor point with a moleskine knock-off Modena while I'm waiting for my first FP to arrive from the UK (a Parker 51 Aeromatic) and find that it works very well for my small handwriting. I find that I can squeeze all sort of information on a page.

I've got a Lamy 2000 on order with a fine point and I'm hoping that it will be as good.

I know that a felt-tip isn't nearly as elegant, nor have the versitility of a FP, but for just scratching lot's of notes in a moleskine, it sure seems very practical. More so than the G2 0.7mm that I tried first.

Anyone else use or tried a fine felt-tip on a moleskine?

Regards,
- SteveN

I've used all kind of felt tips, from the supposedly non-bleeding Sakura pigma micron to Pitt Pens, to relatively humble no-name markers. Same results as FP - depends on the pen, the moleskine, and the ink. Sometimes it will bleed, sometimes not. So you get to do the same kind of experimenting you do with FP ink. So far the best for not bleeding are Pitt brush pens - but then that doesn't exactly let you write a lot of tiny info on a page.
