Hello all... new to FPN and new to fountain pens. Just bought my first, a Retro 51 Tornado in Stainless Steel. I found FPN while searching online for thoughts on replacing the nib. I like the one it came with, but would like to try my hand at italic writing. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Right now, to call my handwriting chicken scratch, would be doing a disservice to chickens everywhere. I blame my infrequent use of the paltry bit I learned about writing in school and the computer to which I am chained. Looking forward to learning from the pros who no doubt inhabit this forum.

Easton, up in the northeast, about 90 minutes north of Philadelphia. Although the wife has me convinced we'll be packing our bags soon and moving to North Carolina. We'll see smile.gif

Hi Robert!
lapis
Welcome aboard!
Since I don't have any italic nibs, I can't help you out much, but you can start off by looking at 10 good company's offers of pens with OB (oblique broad) and similar nibs. E.g. Pelikan's M425 and higher.

Hi and welcome! Do they still allow people to tour the crayon factory? We took the tour years ago and loved it!
