I have seen reference to this ink and would like to find out if it is being made.
Is it BP?
Also, what are good BP blue inks?

This ink is made only for Swisher Pens and you can buy it from them. It is bullet-proof. They also make a blue-green BP ink called Swishmix Tahitian Pearl. The colour is similar to Legal Lapis, but darker.
The distinguishing feature of the Swishmix series is that the inks flow heavier than other, but dry faster. And they are very well-behaved, even in problem pens.
Hope this helps,

I believe the ink is actually semi-bulletproof. I'm not certain about Nile Ebony, because I haven't personally used it, but the Swishmix series (to which Nile Ebony belongs) is a mixture of non-waterproof quick-drying inks (from the Swisher-exclusive quick-drying line) mixed with a bulletproof (from the Swisher exclusive "Eternal" line). The Eternal line has some of the best of the bulletproof inks, in my opinion (not TOO chalky, and flow is GREAT, but the Swishmixes have the advantage of being a few dollars cheaper, slightly brighter, and perhaps the best Noodler's label (though some really grand ones have been coming out lately). The quick-drying aspect is not really that exciting, since Eternal inks typically dry quite fast anyway, and actually, the quick-drying aspect causes feathering on some papers (some inks more than others). Anyway, based on the three I've used (Glacier Blue, Burgundy, and Lakeshore Spruce), about 75% of the the darkness remains after washing the rest away with water. Very reasonable.
