Hmmm, perhaps an Esterbrook M2 (aerometric filler) ?

Hmmm, could be. But the black part on the top of the cap is missing from the M2.

Don't see a black part on top of the cap at all....Could it be part of the shadow that extends the length of the cap??
The auction just ended yesterday so I am assuming that you don't have the pen yet? If no one is able to give you a definitive answer here on FPN (I'm no expert on these pens...but I own the Esterbrook book
), then posting a photo you've taken of it yourself would help immensely, I'm sure.

I also think that's just a shadow and I agree with the M2 which came with a fare price
Looks just like my M2. Mine also has an aerometric (or at least squeeze) filler. I like it, it works fine; it's thinner than an Estie J, more in the dimensions of a 1950's Sheaffer. The filler is crimped in place, so you have to pull it off to work on the sac.
Yeah total M2. Mine is just like it, but black. I rather like it.
