Full Version: Good deal on a Skyline 14K solid gold FP/MP set?
I have an opportunity to snag this set for a price in the $300 range - both instruments are 14K solid gold. Is this a good deal or should I pass? Thanks in advance:
This solid gold set was sold recently for US $260.00. Other sets (including the one pictured in your post) have reached Ebay auction prices in the US $3-400 range in the last weeks. If you buy it the price is aligned with the market, but not much of a bargain, IMHO.

It depends entirely on whether there are dents and dings. The 14k pens were dent magnets. If no dents, I'd buy it for 300.
