I need the little ring (I don't know the proper name for it) which locks the cap onto the section. Mine went down the drain (literally) two nights ago. Silver color.

I was hoping that someone here might have a junker or a beater that they would sell for parts, especially considering how many Sonnet-haters there seem to be!

Rob - you're in luck. I happen to have a complete section from a Sonnet Laque Black, brand new from Newhaven. Parker exchanged a nib for me a while back, and although I sent them only the nib assembly, they returned the new nib fitted to a new section (which of course I didn't need).
