Hi, people
I've only recently rejoined the fold after many years absence and serial roller ball addiction.
reaswon being I have inherited a few pens from a relative who died recently and I'd like to find out more about them, what inks are available, who/where can I get them looked at and refurbished.
I have a Meisterstock Le Grand, probably from the '70's or 80's. Can't read the serial number without a loupe, but it's an original, Mont Blanc case and all. I got a Le grand roller ball with it, but not sure if they were originally a set or not, as I only got one case, and it seems to have only a single central elastic loop for the fountain pen.
The other one I'm not familiar with and hoping somone can identify. It is a cartridge fountain pen, has a stainless steel case, tapering towards the base, has a gold four-grooved band feature in centre (where cap clicks to barrel), gold band to cap tip which has a single groove in it, gold-plated clip which has a name and logo on it.
I think the name is Clipper, and it looks like a 'magneto' style font, with the letters joined together. There is also a logo that looks like a circle with something inside it, or maybe like a piece of fruit (apple-shaped??). Again, without a loupe I can't tell what it is...
Anyone got any ideas??
And where in western Sydney can I get good inks and pen repairs, if possible??
Regards
