Ok a poor attempt at humour but us Kiwis are good at that.
Alright why am I here..... after my many year addiction to writing with fountain pens starting in the early eighties with too many Sheaffer no nonsense models (the plastic case just could not handle the chewing while working on assignments), finally brought myself a replacement a Sheaffer TRZ70 (thankyou Rene for the id) used daily over the next 15 years until I cracked the case and after a few more months of constantly inked finger tips got a replacement through online auction, this time a Waterman Laureat.
So really came looking for information and am amazed at the number of devotees to these wonderful instruments, would not call myself a collector but one thing is for sure I would not be without my fountain pen.
Edit: my pens don't fail me but my keyboard cannot spell

Lots of pen users here are not collectors, though it can be hard to tell after you have more than a couple dozen. . .

Well hi there.
{A} Your humour isn't bad at all.
{B} I find it really neat that somebody starts off with same instead of asking immediately what they should buy.
But we're goin' ta tell ya anyways, whether you want a few dozen recommendations or not!
