Having ink flow issues, I searched through the forum and found out that Tryphon's InkSafe is recommended. The reports all sound promising. Now is it possible to use InkSafe and SterilInk in the same bottle? Though InkSafe has anti-bacterial properties, for stronger treatment, SterilInk is preferred - will they work together in the same ink bottle when used sparringly? Or do they form some unpleasant chemical reactions?

While I can't answer your question from experience I have to ask why you think you need the biocide? There are lots of reasons for ink flow problems other than critters setting up light housekeeping in the ink channel.

If you read the directions that come with your order, you will see that Tryphon suggests you choose either InkSafe or SterilInk, but not both. If you are not really having difficulties with bacteria, I would suggest the InkSafe might be the better choice. I do agree with Ink Stained Wretch that your flow issue might have to do with something other than the ink itself.

The problem is that I have a bottle of ink that has problems with ink flow and is subject to bacterial growth because it has to sit in a room where it's very hot. Last year it has been exposed to sunlight. At the moment I cannot see any bacterial grow in it but when it's sitting another year in that room (no air-condition, it's a public building) then it could catch bacterial growth. I'd just want to prevent that.
