The fountain pen is similar in appearance to the ribbed Platinum #3776.
BTW Thanks Siv, Your link forwarded indirectly to a webpage showing Sailor's limited edition pens including the Pro-Fit 21 fountain pen. The series has a much finer nib than usual, and having found their extra-fine nibs too broad and wet for my tastes, I might investigate acquiring the instrument.

According to the Japanese, both of these pens have the saibi togi nib 「細美研ぎ」.
