The symbol is on my 45 and 180 caps and has been around for a long time.

That logo's the old one. The new one looks like a funny 'P'.

Not exactly. Look closely at the design of the arrow - it's different and I dare say more modern.

I changed the file format so it can appear inline.
I would agree that this logo looks like a more sterile version of the old "halo" logo.

Could it just be so small that the detail is lost?

I don't think so. The feathers and the point were too obvious on the old version. I tend to believe that this is a reincarnation.

Edit: Look at the font. It looks very modern as well.

Look at the official Parker-Website: The new logo is online!

If you look at the larger version on the website (parkerpens.com), you still can see the feathers and arrow quite well. So what's changed? Just the font?

Yes! Definitely a difference. The Halo is back! Yippee! roflmho.gif
I like it! Looks like they took the original Halo logo from post '58 and thinned it a bit. The basics seem to be preserved. The arrowhead and the feathers are there. The ellipse looks like it was drawn with a flex nib having slightly varied line thickness.

Not that I disliked the swooping P arrow, I prefer the halo. thumbup.gif I'm slightly biased as I grew up with the halo. Wonder when it will start showing up on those Jotters.

The feathers and point aren't as distinctive as they were before. It's much more sterile and modern, although very similar.
