I am new to collecting pens & have just ordered a book through Barnes & noble, but I'm not sure if its the best book for collecting, any recommendations
on a good book for collecting & info on this pen would help,,. I think I'm going to post it for sale, but not only knowing a good price to ask for it, or how to accurately describe it
would be great,, it appears never used. & the color is amazing !!!

Thanks in advance !

I can't tell you much not being experienced, but I can say that 61s well are double-jewelled. Very nice pen!

Pretty pen. You can get an idea of the value from ebay and looking at the marketplace/classifieds here. If you think about it let me know when you are ready to see, I have been looking for just such a pen.

Nice one with the narrow clutch ring, pity about the teflon though as it is uninked.

It looks very clean and color is quite good. It is not a Rainbow cap or otherwise "decorative" cap and does not appear to have a first year emblem. Those can go from $140 -200 depending on condition. Yours might fetch as much as $125. A reasonable quicker sale might be @ $90 -95. IMBO (in my boastful opinion;)

I have that color with the rainbow cap. You might want to hang on to it if you are thinking "collection".

that's quite a beautiful pen! I love the color. What imprints does it say on the cap? The teflon degradation will have a slight impact, but otherwise that pen looks mint/uninked.

The only imprint on the cap is PARKER & a very small MADE IN USA,,

The ones with the thin ring are also known as 'Mk1'.

Nice pen though, especially as it's uninked.
