Pink Ink

I used to use fountain pens in middle school and high school and I stopped using using them for reasons I don't remember. I think it was the funky ink colors that some gels came in. Now I've discovered that fountain pens also have ink in all sorts of fun colors. :-)
As for my taste in fountain pens, like small sizes and very fine lines. I used to use, like any stereotypical n00b, a Parker Vector but I always thought its "fine" nib was still too thick for my taste. This time though, I'm gonna stick with the Japanese pens and their fine or extra-fine nibs.

Pink ink is my next priority once these pens I ordered arrive. :-) Pinks, reds, purples, blues -- these are the colors I gravitate towards.

LOL, I just went on a little shopping spree. Pilot Cavalier (which I now have), Pilot Prera, Pilot Vortex and Pilot Penmanship (these three are still in the mail). And I really have my eye on the Daks Slim. Depending on my mood and expenses next weekend I just might buy it.

Hee, I had the bug back in middle school and high school. It's more like I've recaught the bug. And I'm more dangerous now -- I'm a more informed buyer now. :-)

pink ink, read
this thread by Taki about several different pink inks.
Also pay attention to Rachmaninov -- it's out of this world. It's not your usual ink though; the flow isn't perfect (will be a hard starter after a bit of disuse, but only in some pens...)
welcome to FPN!

Hee, I was just looking at that. I was leaning towards Noodler's Ottoman Rose from that scan. As for Rachmaninov,
this review says the pic and scan don't do the ink justice but I'm still unconvinced. :-/
