I enjoyed making the first one so much I went ahead and made another one.
This is a video tribute to David Byrne & Brian Eno's Strange Overtones, from the
Everything That Happens Will Happen Today album. This is all taken with natural light, using a handheld digicam with a video function. The calligraphy, of course, is the lyrics to the song.
Here it is. I wonder which song I'll do next?
Having way too much fun...

That's so much fun to watch. It's like watching someone who really knows how to surf out in the waves. I'm going to post a link to this thread over in Penmanship -- hope you don't mind.

The Omas is Mottishawed, yes.

The Koi is as it was found. Isn't it delicious? It's an eyedropper. There's a little crack in the celluloid at the base, that's why I treat it as a dip pen for now.

And this is where I reveal that I don't have a tripod...

I held the cam for the first part, and asked a friend to help me because I realized everything was being shot from the left, LOL. Methinks I need a headmount.

That was a very cool video! As a hearing-impaired person, I really appreciate when I can read the lyrics to songs as I'm listening to them, but I've never had the lyrics displayed in such a beautiful and attractive manner before. So thank you!

Would you mind posting a picture of your pen hold? I tried imitating it from what I could see of it from the video, but I can't see it very clearly.
