So, did anyone else get the latest Joon catalog? On page 30, the catalog says about the nib of Pelikan's "Polar Lights" fountain pen that it is "conscripted by hand." Does the nib now serve in the army? And has it been drafted to do so by hand?By whose hand(s) if I may ask? Maybe it's an anti-terror nib! Sorry, but I love this non-conscript ahhhmmm nondescript advertisement spiel that basically doesn't make any sense at all.
Having said this, the Polar Light pen reminds me more of a backgammon board than of the polar lights.

If you think that's funny, how about reconsidering how "Masterly" MB's Meisterstücke" are?

Yeah - I can never get anything from any of these company advertisements for pens especially Pelikan - (Natural wonders !?). They often don't clearly say what the material of the body is. Shouldn't pens be accompanied by a "Technical Specifications" sheet where they give the chemical formula of the material of the barrel, the proposed minimum and maximum temperatures, the expected hours of use. The ink capacity The allowed range of pH of the ink. etc. exactly as what you get when you buy a music system , camera or laptop? No? ....... wink.gif ....

Great catch! If you want to have some real fun with a catalogue, spend some time with Paradise Pen's. Great store but talk about marketing-speak in a catalogue!
