I like to use my own photos on cards when I write to people. I don't mean the cards where you send your photo off and they print up lots of them on cards. I like to glue my own print on it. I like the card to be exceedingly simple, just a folding card maybe 10"x7" which, when folded over would be 5x7 and accomodate a 4x6 photo. And it would be on sturdy cream colored stock and have a crease to make the folding easy.
Is that something that a print shop would do? And if so, would they do envelopes or would I need to find 5x7 envelopes somewhere else and then have the cards made to fit?

I used to be able to find these blank cards but since I've moved west I can't find them. They were just perfect. I wrote to the manufacturer and they don't have any stores in the west AND they won't do on line ordering and shipping.
Whatcha think?

Absolutely. Any print shop worth its salt will have books and books of various card/index stock that can be cut to your specified dimensions and folded; most of what's available will have matching envelopes in standard sizes. They'll be able to print anything or nothing you'd like on the front, inside, back, or envelope. You should also be able to test for FP ink compatibility...
