can someone please help me out with a history on this pen ....silver corinthian barrel plating with gold trims , nib is marked Waterman France , seems to be only take mini cartridges

Dont know the exact name but it is not Charlotte. Charlotte is not monochrome laquer (http://www.prouds.nf/pages/waterman/lady_charlotte.htm)
Nice little pen - yes mini cartridges only.

I have a Lady Charlotte and found a mini-converter for her at the Fountain Pen Hospital (NYC) where I bought her. It doesn't take much ink but is easier to use.

Here's a picture of her w/ a Gentlemen.

I believe it is a Lady Charlotte. I have one in green. You can use the same converter that the Waterman CF pens take, although they're hard to come by. I found a Monte Verde little push/pull plastic converter that fits, in addition to the Waterman min-carts.
