I recently bought a brown striated lever-fill (about 1933?), gold-filled hump clip, nice visuilated section, slight brassing on the cap band, 5 3/8 inches long, #3 nib, "350" on the barrel. I have 3 questions:
1. What is the sac size? I looked on Pendemonium's chart but could not tell.
2. What is the pressure bar size? Where can I buy one? or does someone have a spare?
3. What is the value of one of these pens in good condition? If I decide to sell it in the FPN marketplace, I don't want to put an unreasonable price on it, nor do I want to give it away.
Thanks for your help.
By the way, I am fairly new to the world of fountain pens but find myself gravitating towards Sheaffers more than any others.

1) #16, off the top of my head... but I'm pretty sure I got that from the Pendemonium chart.
2) I believe Tryphon and Wood Bin carry bars (likely Pendemonium as well), which only come in a couple of sizes that you then trim to fit. Someone likely has a spare, too....
3) I'm not good at this bit without a few hours pondering.

Brown stripe is later than 1933-- your pen probably dates more to the mid to late 1930s than to 1933.

I just took a look at my striated green 350 (which may not be the most valid comparison since it's a vacuum filler), and it's just slightly larger in diameter than two of my similar vintage Sheaffer's that I know take a #15 (the pen in my avatar and a Sheaffer Jr)... So I think Ernst is absolutely right about the #16. The "350" pens (as in $3.50) were at the lower end of the price range when new. The nib in it would have a bearing on value. I'd assume that it would be a number 3 nib, though I think one might see a Feather Touch as well (I'm sure someone will correct me, since offhand that may really only be a guess). Number 3's are really nice, but they're plated (so obviously worth less than 14kt). I'd think that unrestored it's certainly worth less than $20 and restored under $50, though I'm sure others would have differing opinions. Hope that's helpful.
