Okay. I have been officially converted. The black piccolo cigar with flexible medium got ordered today. Thanks (I think) to Legal Eagle, ethernautrix and Leigh for pushing me over the edge. It will join my three Sailor Professional Gears in my Japanese pen stable!!

I got drawn into this as well.........Nakaya Cigar Long in Kuro-Tamenuri (redish black) with a fine, monotone nib. Absolute beauty, very understated in color, but very commanding in size.

This is a HUGE pen. Designed to be used un=posted but basically the size of any larger pen posted.

Hopefully I have also contributed to your downfall.....

They are wonderful pens.

aarrggghhhh...must resist...must resist..must resist......

Keng, once you hold a Nakaya in your hand you will become spellbound and all resistance will melt away. When you put the pen to paper, well I fear you will be driven to acquire "just one more" I know, believe me I do...I now have six and will get at least one more!
As for those who are waiting for pens to arrive....indeed it is true: Good things come to those who wait!

Hehe, these pens sure are absolutely gorgeous! I couldn't resist as well, and last june, I ordered a Kuro-Tame Piccolo (clipless) with a dual tone elastic soft & flexible fine nib (and my name on makie wink.gif). It should have arrived in mid-august, but seems like there's always some delay, and I am still waiting for it.

Cheers!
Shin.

P.S.: Is this black Piccolo the reason why I'm waiting for an Omas Bologna to arrive? biggrin.gif

No need to be pushed over the edge... falling is just a natural staus biggrin.gif

You're killing me! I just ordered a Danitrio Nami Nuri and I guess my next pen will have to be a Nakaya. Thanks a lot.
You guys are pushers!

I want to see reviews and pictures.

Congratulations on the pen!

I was at the NJ show today and saw John Mottishaw again.

I admired and tried out quite a few of his Nakayas and luckily he did not have the one I wanted! He did have one just LIKE the one I wanted but thank goodness it had a clip so I was spared spending the money! smile.gif

Hopefully by the end of October I will get a long writer in orange red tamenuri with some abalone sprinkled on.
