I have a green J on the way. I have been a fan of this pen but this will be my first.

Can't wait for it to get here, I check the mail everyday!

Yeah, that wait is a killer. I always hate it when the week gets close to the end and the package hasn't arrived. Monday seems like an eternity!

Yesterday I was expecting a pen and I got word from the shipping/receiving department here at work that I had a package. As you can imagine, I ran down almost immediately to get it. I'm looking all around for a box when my friend points to an envelope. I'm worried, then I open the envelope to find, what's this? A stick of RAM! Nooooo!!!!! Luckily it came later in the day so my sanity was spared.

Welcome to the club. I've recently become an Estie fan myself and now have two of them. One is a fully restored black "Transitional" model and the other is a near-mint gray swirl "J". Both of the pens came with extra nibs of various sorts. That's one of the things that I like about Esties: changing the nib is so easy that it's like getting multiple pens in one when you have extra nibs. You'll love Esties as they are great everyday pens and deserve to be used on a regular basis. The bad thing about your liking them is that now I have another competitor in on-line auctions.

Finally, my pen arrived yesterday and was patiently awaiting me when I came home from the office.

Within minutes I inked using Pelikan Brilliant Black.

I plan on using my Estie all day!
