Just received my Omas Arco from rroossinck and if rroossinck is ever selling something you want - buy it!

The pen is even better than I imagined clap1.gif The photos were great, but the reality.... puddle.gif I've just put some Herbin Lie De The inside (the perfect colour for an Arco) and written a paragraph. I'm not a normal Medium nib sort of guy, but in the Arco the ink just glides out of the paper and flows onto the paper. cloud9.gif

The seller? His communication throughout, his letter, and his updates are all more than I expected. I'll do the review once my feet have hit the ground.

Grail is the wrong word, the right word is - Arco!

Sounds great! Which one did you get? The current model or the older style?

Keep enjoying your new pen

Michael

Ah...so it landed!

I'm glad you're enjoying it, Nicholas. That's a seriously beautiful pen, and I'm really glad that it writes well too.

Michael, it's the old style (my preference as I'm not so keen on the metal)

rroossinck, THanks again.

Any time, Nicholas. Any time.

Glad to see it found its way into the hands of a fellow FPNer. I consider this pen the quintessential pen of my little collection!

love it. Smooth as silk - BUT - I'm still going to probably have the nib adjusted as I really am a fine nib sort of guy - would this be blasphemy?

Not at all; I've had some of my "medium" Omas nibs customized because they run too broad for me as well.

Enjoy your pen; the old style celluloid really became a classic very fast smile.gif

Here is mine:

(even I prefere fine or extra fine nibs as well this "BB" writes great)

That's great...it's so nice to hear that someone is hook, line, and sinker for a grail pen when they actually have it in hand.

It is beautiful...and at the top of my "wish" list.

Enjoy!!!

Hey, has that piston loosened up at all?

I'm getting the nib adjusted first. Love the pen, just a little too wide for me, so being Binderised. Piston wasn't too stiff in any case.
