I like fine or extra fine nibs, I write kind of small. I recently purchased a Sailor 1911 hard fine. I like it, but what would be something like it except with more of a flexible nib?

Emphatically, Namiki Falcon with F-nib.

Lots of discussions about it in the forums, and Pam at Oscar Braun has excellent prices on them.

Not really what you'd consider a traditional vintage flex nib, but is is pretty soft and springy by modern standards, and most people really like them.

You know I bet Emperor ninja.gif Hirohito used a Japanese pen! And he didn't go to Oscar Meyer or wherever it is to get it!

And I bet you he didn't even have to go buy it himself. Either someone from the Imperial Household Agency buys it for him or one of the Japanese fountain pen companies delivers it to one of the imperial palaces ;-)
