Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows of any pens -preferably on the thin side- with the same nib as the Shaeffer Targa, Legacy Heritage and Intrigue? I adore this nib design but I can't seem to find similar pens: the only other I have seen so far is the Waterman Carene, but this one too, is expensive! I'm just a poor college student!
(Is there even a specific name for this style of nib?)
Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

I believe the word you are looking for is "inlaid." Sorry, I'm not aware of any other pens with this style nib, but I'm sure others will chime in.

Hello,
The sheaffer Targa would fit the bill. You can browse around the marketplace, some show up from time to time. Check out this site -- www.sheaffertarga.com

Felix
