In Seattle, there is a Japanese specialty market called Uwajimaya. Every fall there is a vendor in the front of the store selling freshly roasted sweet, soft, aromatic, warm Chestnuts. Having grown up in the South, I had never tasted a roasted Chestnut, believing such a thing was simply a line from a Christmas Carol, "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose," and did not consider the possibility that it could possibly be an actual, tasty, edible delicacy. Now I now crave them every time the weather turns cold.
As the color Chestnut goes, Abraxas gets this one right.
