I have a chance to pick up a Waterman mint Man 100 anniversary pen. I think its a Man 100 that has a round coin type emblem on the clip. I didn't take good notes when I was looking at it but I seem to recall it being described as an Ideal pen. What is a range of value for something like this? Any information is appreciated.

Sounds like the French Bicentennial Le Man 100 - a boxed mint one sold on Ebay fairly recently -
here's the link: Ebay Bicentennial

Here's another listed by montgomery stationery at a rather unrealistic price...monty Bicentennial

Thanks for the link. That is the exact pen. I hate to say what it sold for at an estate auction here, less than $50. Unfortunately, I was not the buyer.

Sorry to hear about your near miss.

Better luck next time...
