Bought this at a flea market today

Size is similar to Birdie but it comes in a 14k nib. Birdies come with stainless steel nibs right ?

Yeah, looks a little thick for a Birdie. Sorry I can't help beyond that. But I can suggest that if you want to make the steel surface look better, take some micro mesh in one hand, grip the pen, and rotate the pen firmly (based on the scratches, maybe start with 2400 or 1800 and work your way to 3200, but not too fine as to lose the brushed steel look). You might be able to remove the clip to do the cap easier.

It is not a Birdie. I have seen it called "Reflex" by some eBay sellers. There should be a stylized R printed with the Pilot logo, below the clip.

I think you're right, Woody. Sakura Zeppelin has one up for sale on FleaBay and it looks like the same pen.

Yup that's the one.
Thanks for the help guys.
It's a very reasonably priced pen with a 14k nib.

Definitely not a contemporary Birdie. If you want to see what one looks like, take a look at:

Wow that auction went up to almost $62.
Factoring the postage, it is almost 4 times I paid for my pen.
Granted the one being auctioned is new and mine has shown some wear but I think I had a very good deal.
