Still hunting that elusive perfect purple... here are some samples of some of the inks i have

I thought Montblanc violet was the perfect purple. Well, your collection definitely needs Waterman purple and Noodler's Purple Wampum. That should send you in the right direction.

On your comparison sheet it seems that Diamine Mediterranean Blue is even more saturated than PR Naples Blue. I can see some subtle shading on Naples but no shading from Mediterranean. Or is it only my eyes?

Last month I thought MB Violet was the perfect purple and I still like it quite a bit, but somehow I keep looking for something even perfect-er. Sheesh. Pelikan Violet looks awfully nice to me on your scan.
