Mine has the same nib, a strong camphor smell, but it's a CC. Is yours a button-fill?

No, it is a screwing piston filler. And no camphor smell.

I asked to Columbus customer care (Santana s.r.l.) about I have not found anything about that Academia piston filler pen. They answered me that it is absolutely an Academia and it is very rare because for just a short time and for only about one hundred pieces for every colour it was produced with piston filler mecanism.

So not only I'm happy to have reached a high score at Cisco CCNA certification, but also I'm happy to be always so lucky following my instinct when I buy new pens!!

Edited to add: if someone else is interested in the piston filler Academia, at the retailer there is another one but with Fine nib. PM me if you are interested.
