I haven't seen it in person, but I remember Djehuty saying that the hieroglyphs are complete nonsense.

Saw it in the flesh (or in the resin) and held it for a couple of minutes last month at the DC Supershow. Bittner Pens, from Carmel, CA, had one on display. Beautiful pen.
