http://cgi.ebay.com/Esterbrook-J-Transitio...id=p3286.c0.m14Cobalt blue transitional and I am pretty sure that's an early ribbed jewel to boot!

I realize that the seller only has 2 sales AND that I'm used to the Marketplace here,
but it gripes my but* that people take one pic from 3 feet away of something they are
going to sell. The time to take and post 2 more pics will be a heck of alot less than they
will likely spend answering messages with questions their one crappy pic envokes.

I almost bought this one, but already won three pens, so it as enough for one day.
Bummer. But someone is happy tonight!

I saw that, but didn't bid because it's a transitional (flat bottom right?).

That would go well with my Green one but alas, budgets are tight this month

Heck, I like the transitionals the best! For some reason, I think the body appears more expensive than the J line does.
I don't mind the bad photos too much, there can be a lot of hidden jewels in there! I recieved a great copper Estie in a photo so bad I had no idea what color it was! I would like to match up some ribbed jewel Esties. My set of Transitionals are half and half. I need a black, gray and green ribbed jewel to have a matching set. Maybe someday, although then I will have to buy a blue, red, and coper one to match the other non-ribbed ones!

There will be more don't worry. Just when you think there are no deals left a few drop into your lap. A few weeks back I was surfing e-bay and tossing up really low bids on pens just to about to close. Sort of a manual sniping game. I wound up with a lot of pens headed my way. I even grabbed several Esties for under 10 each with shipping! I didn't need them and yes the photos were really bad. One so bad you would do well to identify it as a pen--I'm still waiting for this one so who knows.

True. Don't get me wrong. I like the Transitionals, I am just not collecting them (at this time). I'm only searching for the double jeweled J's.
