VERY nice.
What is the clip on the Densho? Is it solid? I had a R.E. Densho, and I really didnt care for the clip since it was a flat piece of metal curved into a shape, whereas I have seen some other Densho's with solid metal clips.
Which of the nibs do you prefer?

The clip on the red urushi Densho is solid. The clip on my RE Densho isn't solid. I personally like the solid one better.
As for the nibs, the Densho has an flexy F, but is being changed out to an flexy M. The Mikado has a stub nib. This is my first stub nib and I really like it. I put Pilot Iroshizuku kiri-same ink in the Mikado. It's nice, but I wish it were a little darker of a gray.

The things that happen in moments of weakness

but I really can't complain. I really like both pens. One came from winedoc and the other from an FPN member. I also happened across another R.E. Densho. It's been a couple of lucky weeks. It's also been a couple of expensive weeks.

I think both are incredible pens. I have two Nakayas, and at one time, had two Danitrios.
You could make the case that the Nakyas are a little more 'refined', but the Dani's seem to be more 'robust'. I just found out that my current Danitrio, a Raw Ebonite Mikado, is a regular fine nib, and not a flexible fine, as I originally thought. I love it, but I would also like a Dani nib with flex.
I traded the extra fine flexible Densho for the Mikado right as I had the Densho nib replaced.
I had scant moments to use the Densho, but enough to let it sink in that I NEED another Danitrio with the xfine flex nib.
The amazing thing is that, even though the Nakayas are relatively small, and the Dani's are big, they are both great quality pens, and I feel comfortable using both...
Both brands are wonderful ......................................

I've always admired the Nakaya pens and have almost purchased more than one. My biggest problem is ink capacity. I need a large ink capacity.
When I had my Pilot VP I would go through an ink cartridge every other day. I don't buy or even think about buying cartridge based pens anymore because of this. It's my preference that's all. I don't like having to waste time changing ink or refilling more than I have to. That's why an eyedropper is perfect. I can write for like ten days without refilling sometimes longer.
