I'm not sure why this is called "Mercury" Green... when I think of Mercury, I think of highly toxic, mirror-like liquid substance, and not a vegetal green. There were many cars called "Mercury". Apparently there was an Merkur Xr-4ti that was a German build Ford sold in the US in the late 80s, but I really don't know if the green color was a signature color associated with the automobile. If anyone had ideas as to why this color is named "Mercury", I'd be interested!
