Here goes. I am pretty much liquidating most of my pen collection. While it pains me to sell this particular pen--what can I say, I love brown tortoise--I feel guilty keeping it. I'm sure it will look much better in someone else's collection. I also have found that I prefer to use my pens, not just look at them. I would feel terrible inking this baby up!
Here are the particulars on the pen. This is a Pelikan M400 F Brown Tortoise. It still has the original tag which reads, "M400, 14K, F, Schidlp/Braun, DM, 255, unverb." This item also comes with it's little original box. On the end of the box the tag reads, "M400, schildpatt/braun, F, 958 355." To the best of my knowledge, this pen has never been inked or dipped--only displayed. The original owner had it on display in his personal collection. I have also only displayed the pen. The clarity is perfect as I have tried to show in the pics. There are no marks or scuffs to the body. The gold pelican on the top of the cap is pristine. This pen is in excellent condition.
I am asking $250.00 plus $15 for priority shipping and insurance. Paypal cash transfer is the preferred method of payment. I would prefer to limit this sale to CONUS but will consider international with some shipping conditions. Please PM if interested or to make a reasonable counteroffer.
