I do have a follow up question for the floor, I remember reading on Pentrace a year ago that Pelikan took its nib production back in house, is this true?

Hi Bill,
Congrats on your new nice Peli.I don't think that is a true.Pelikan nibs are produced by Bock nib Company @ Germany. That's what I know about Peli nibs.

Take Care,
Emrecan

That's true, Emrecan, BUT there has been a hot rumor in the last 6 months or so, that Pel was going to begin making their own nibs again. This rumor propagated by some very knowledgable people in the business.

Like everyone else, I know nothing of its true credibility or, if credible, what the timetable may be.

Good as Bock is, there has been a gnawing feeling among many longtime Pel users that the nibs haven't been as good as when Pel previously made their own.
