Yes, that was really exciting! … just great!
Everything like place (café at Kyiv city downtown, but on silent small street), coffee to speak over, nice weather of Indian summer, pens to try and to talk about, and (the last but not least) company of right people (if penfiends remain people as that

) worked well in synergy (I love this word!).
Even drilling glimpses from around failed to spoil the pleasure

The only pity was (and a I still feel it well) that I was a bit limited in time as had meeting elsewhere which was just impossible to reschedule.
I would say thank you once again to Sergei (aka torbich) who is really very good penmate, especially for pleasure to see and to try real Parker 51. I love pens which are vintage in "look&feel" but are in good conditions so functioning like new (if not better).
All Sergei’ contribution to this first pen event is hard to be overestimated.
As to more ‘technical details from my side’: I brought with me two Auroras (brand new 806 and another one purchased recently on antique market and subject to be properly attributed and restored), Montegrappa Nero Uno and couple of Cesare Emiliano’. Waterman Carene (Royal Blue) and one of the Monteverde pens were brought so exposed as well to balance my focus to Italian brands (I’d like not to look like narrow-minded too much). As pen engineering is main attraction for me I brought vintage (circa late 1950s) pen produced in Ukraine which is subject to be exposed on FPN is short time because it seems pretty interesting in engineering despite being replica of some western original apparently.
Obviously I support “welcome” for all pen lovers from Ukraine but if by chance anybody of pen aficionado will be visiting Ukraine please feel free to contact me and/or Sergei and we will be glad to see you.
