I was the lucky winner of my first V-clip Estie on the bay. I don't know if everyone missed it or it isn't that special. I thought $50 was reasonable for such a rare piece. Any thoughts or comments would be welcomed.

Oh that is nice indeed! The clip looks clean and tight, nice find! Do you know what she has for a nib yet?

It is a very clean looking design. Does the clip seem sturdy enough to actually use the pen?

Nice grab! Assuming the pen is complete/intact, that is a heck of a deal on a V-clip.

That was the weak point on the early open V clips, they tend to break. I would be very carefull with it as it has lasted this long already!

That's a great deal. Congratulations!

Congratulations! I saw that one and considered bidding, but I had a feeling it would go higher than I could afford to pay at the moment. I'm glad I didn't drive the price up for you. smile.gif

Thanks for the feedback. I'm awaiting arrival of the pen. I will most likely be parking it in my Estie collection as the clip is not worth risking. I'll update the board when it arrives!

Good luck to everyone on the Visulated section on the bay now. I have the blue one aready...

Always late to the party... Did you get this pen yet? Is it the large size or the slender? Which nib, and is it in usable condition (most original are shot).

Nice price no matter how you look at it!
