I need some help with something regarding a fountain pen please.

If someone says they have a pen, a Parker 51 which is apparently rare as it's the "last handmade one that Parker made", is there a way of finding that out? Are they serial numbered or similar?

Thanks for any assistance with this, i'm not too clued up on the history of 51's.

Calv.

I have seen that ebay comment myself, I would treat it with the same caution as any other eBay claim.

Thanks Arthur, it's hard to know what to do for the best sometimes isn't it?

Don't want to get conned, then again i would love a 51.

Hi Calv,

I've also seen this auction. The stuff the guy has written is *%$£%$ but on the other hand it could be a good find. This is the ebay lottery and 'caveat emptor' rings true for this auction.

It could be a great find however. Be aware that it is their first sale...

Regards,

Matt

EDIT: the item finished with ZERO bids. It also had a reserve which under UK ebay rules meant it had to set at £50+ Totally unrealistic.
