Hi,
My sister'll be going to Amsterdam next week and she's agreed to get me some ink provided I give her precise directions to the shop. Anybody know of a place stocking Noodler's or other permanent ink? I've sent an email to P.W. Akkerman but haven't got a response yet.
Thanks,
Hellene Lillian

I don't think there are shops in the Netherlands that stock Noodlers ink (i haven't found them yet). I don't know the Amsterdam shop of Akkerman, but in the Hague they don't have noodlers but they do have Private Reserve.

Not sure if this helps but Cortina Papier stocks J Herbin.

Thanks alot. Have contacted them and will wait for their response. I'm new to inks (only use MontBlanc) so will need to learn about the different types. Starting with J Herbin ;-))

Yes, I can confirm they have Private Reserve inks in the Amsterdam shop as well, I was there a couple of months ago.

The Herbin inks are well-behaved and attractive. Most are, while not permanent, reasonably light-fast and legible after moistening.
