During my entire Undergrad, I used a yellow Pilot H-325 mechanicla pencil. During the second to last week I let a friend borrow it, and he lost it. crybaby.gif I had this pencil for 4 years! It was nothing fancy: cheap, plastic, .5mm.. but it served me well!

On that same note, I would like to find another H-325 but in clear trim, to match my Lamy Vista. Please, if anyone can hunt one down, I would be very appreciative!

Here is some info and pictures to help you out:

Right there, fourth from the bottom is my pencil made from unobtanium. crybaby.gif

Hi,

It is a Pilot S3 エススリー

You can buy it at http://ujuku.jpn.ph/KAIMONO/penframe.htm

I can't seem to find it on that site, not to mention that on the Pilot page, the S3 doesn't come in the clear color.

Ah, the Pilot H-325. I have one, though it's a translucent blue. I'll scour the local bookstores to see what I can find.

Look here: http://ujuku.ath.cx/ujuku-shop/kaimono/fou...chanical/S3.htm

I have a high suspicion that the transparent pencil you want is an export only product since this is what they sell in Japan.

I am crossing my fingers, because in my vast internet searches, I cam across a nice fellow, who agreed to sell me one form his collection. I paid last night, so let's see what happens smile.gif
