Full Version: So what is this Conklin

Anyone know what this is? It is a Conklin lever filler, with a "TRADE CONKLIN MARK / TOLEDO OHIO USA" imprint, a "Conklin / 2 / Toledo" nib, and a short lever with the little crescent on the end.

So does anyone know what the story is on the pattern?

If'n I had to guess, I'd say that it might be one of Conklin's student pens or perhaps one of the "Halloween" variants. Either way you slice it, it's not a real common pen. Nice find!

Nice find!

Yours is a student pen coloration that isn't seen all that often. Like the Halloween version in white, orange and black,
these can go for good $$$$ on fleabay. You sure you don't have the cap?

Perhaps he could make it a desk-pen?

No cap, unfortunately. I picked it up at an antique shop with some other parts and parts pens. I got a good price, and sold it yesterday for what is probably a very good price as well.

Ah well. . .
