Full Version: Drying a piston filler

What is the easiest way to dry a piston filler? I would like to rinse out my Aurora Optima and let it dry. I'm concerned about removing the blind cap end of things, in part because I've never done it and in part because it all works sweetly now and I don't want to mess it up. If I just keep the cap off, will it ever really dry?

I always take a paper towel, put it in the bottom of a glass and place the pen, nib down, into the towel. The water sort of wicks out and the pen dries after a while.
