Beautiful! What color ink was that?

It's a mix of Noodlers: Nikita, Firefly, and Goldfinch. 2:1:1.

crappie |ˈkräpē; ˈkrapē|
noun ( pl. -pies)
a North American freshwater fish of the sunfish family, the male of which builds a nest and guards the eggs and young. • Genus Pomoxis, family Centrarchidae: several species, including the black crappie ( P. nigromaculatus) and the white crappie ( P. annularis).

Note: I thought it looked more like a crappie than a bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus). Here in the South the terms "crappie" and "bluegill" are frequently interchangeable. BTW, Jim, I DON'T think your art is crappie; I like it. Please keep sharing examples.

Johnny, which witch?

I picked up on the crappie reference; no worries here.

I will do a Black Crappie.

I agree, which witch?

I too caught the crappie reference - it was the horrid pun I was objecting to sick.gif .

Which witch? of Wardrobe fame, of course. . .

Oh, THAT witch. OK, I've slowed a bit. BTW, "horrid pun"... it wasn't that good!

I also admire the 'lively' line.

The lips are perfect - just right for spitting out the hook sans the worm. Exactly as I remember the *^%$# fish doing when I fished for them as a child.
