Fall is quickly approaching and I have a new toy. I got a Visconti Van Gogh Maxi from my future wife as a wedding gift. The color of the pen is the reddish marbled color. Being that fall is our favorite season the color fits me perfectly and the pen is excellent!
What color ink do you all think would be the go to ink for the changing leaves in upstate NY. I'm looking for a color that resembles the orange-ish reds of autumn oak and maple leaves. Any thoughts?

Two that come to mind are Levenger Fireball and Noodler's Apache Sunset (the latter is an amazing ink). I'm not well versed with the warmer colors, though. I'm sure you'll get many good suggestions.

I pick Havana Brown or Diamine Umber

Isn't Diamine Umber a dark green? I think the OP is looking for red, orange, or red-orange colors.
As an aside, Montblanc Racing Green is a very earthy tone, and is a color I would associate with late summer and early fall (ie: round about now).

You must go with Galileo Manuscript Brown.

I would suggest J. Herbin's Orange Indien. This is a nicely behaved ink and the colour reminds me of autumn leaves.
Let us all know what your final choice is.

I will do a third vote for Peter's suggestion of J. Herbin's Orange Indien. Herbin's Ambre de Birmanie is a warm yellow brown that also reminds me of Autumn leaves.

I really like the looks of the Levenger's Fireball. That may be the one but I am still open to more suggestions. I will be placing my order mid next week as I want to have the ink loaded up in the pen and have the pen with me at the wedding.

Diamine Monaco Red: Beautiful red, especially in a red/brown Van Gogh. Great red color, dries to a little more of a brown-red. Would never have tried it if someone didn't toss a cart in an ink trade- and now I am meaning to buy a bottle.
FPN Manuscript Brown: Really nice color. Waterproof, yet shading. What else do you need?
R&K Sepia: A subtle brown-grey sepia color. I really like it, some don't as it's not nearly as saturated as an ink like Havana Brown. Captures the color of a dead leaf, once all of the color has been drained. Sorta.
vintage Quink Brown (from vintageinks.com, not sure what modern Quink Brown looks like): A gorgeous brown, great shading, from an almost yellow to a dark brown.
Now, I'd add some sort of sunflower yellow, maybe with a tich of orange, but I don't know what'd be good for that.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Finding the love of your life and having her give you a very cool FP - you're a blessed man.

Sailor Red Brown is another well-behaved ink and a beautiful burnt orange color.

Noodler's Apache Sunset and Antietam both have really nice color; another would be Noodler's Golden Brown.

I wish I'd got your bottle, Wanda. My Cayenne has an annoying touch of red.
