Hi I have a Hastil with a nib that rotates. I feels secure...not loose...writes well... but I gather that the the threads could be stripped? I can't see that they are. The nib is not supposed to spin around, right?
Thanks

My Hastil developed the same problem. I wrote Aurora and they asked me to send it directly to Italy for repair. They are just back from summer holidays so it will be a little while before it returns. I believe this must be a common problem with this otherwise terrific pen.

Thanks Michael, I thought that maybe it was some new (80's) technology....

Hello. All Hastil pens I have ever seen had a rotating nib; I have some definitely brand new Hastils and their nibs rotate: in my opinion it is not a defect. I wonder why in Aurora they ask for repair!?!

Thanks!
So they are supposed to rotate. Interesting. I found this at a flea market, so was wasn't sure.
Michael, if you remember, let us know what Aurora does to the pen.
