I have a stubborn 21 hood that refuses to budge and needs some major cleaning. I've been flushing it with a rapido-ease and water solution and after a hour of soaking, I keep getting dark blue ink and little bits of dried ink out of it. I suspect Superchrome at work here. But despite the heat applications and rinsing, I just can't get the hood off - can't get a good grip on the darn thing!

I was browsing the repair forum and saw Tom's (aka OldGriz) generous offer to be the middleman for us in purchasing Ariel Kullock's Aero tool - but does it work with 21s? I'd be willing to let my repairs go for a couple of months if I could get the right tool for the job.

Any experience with this tool and 21s?
