G'Day from Down Under!

I'd like to introduce myself,My name is Dieter Bauer aged 65 and Antiquedealer.I enjoy writing and after seeing what ballpoints etc had done to my handwriting went back to my trusted old fountainpen. In the meantime and I feel that most other members probably have gone the same way,I have started to collect and of course use different pens.My favourite is a stirling silver Parker which I have owned for many years.I also have a sterling silver Sheaffer a couple of Cross,Montblan,Lamy and various Parkers of various vintages.
I have been trying to find spareparts like nibs and bladders etc and even fleabay seems to ignore the needs of the likes of myself who just enjoy using their fountainpens.

kind regards

Dieter

Another Australian! Yay!!

If you want a nice, local source, check: www.vintagepens.com.au - The man to talk to is Peter Ford. I get all my repair-materials (sacs, shellac, etc), from him.
