Overall 8/10 a nice solid feel obviously this is only a mechanical pencil and at $195 could seem to be overpriced but it is built to a very high mechanical and aesthetic making it a symbol of prestige and fine writing

Baden, congratulations. I have a gold/silver Caran D'Ache rollerball of the same family as this pencil. Excellent workmanship! Still going strong after nearly 8 years

This of is the previous "Ecridor" series. The current Ecridor has a different clip design, while the Hexagonal series (same body shape) has a rectangular shaped clip.

I like this shape very much, a true classic by CdA.
