Hi, my instruments is quite a cheap fountain pen with a few things. I got a normal fountain pen with 4 different sizes of nibs, 2 black 2 red and 2 blue ink cartrdges and this black thing with a ball at the top except its in the inside of the plastic and not the outside. Do you know what is the last thing I described for?

And also, can you help me with my calligraphy? The calligraphy set give me a small book but has lots of different languages in it which makes it extra confusing

Thank you for reading and thank you for thos of you who are replying!

I assume that "black thing with the ball in it" is a converter, probably Parker. It's used to hold ink in the reservoir (if you choose to use it) when you draw ink from the bottle.

I'm not exactly sure as to how you can improve your calligraphy, though you could probably hit the penmanship forums for that. As for the book, having never got one in my life, I can't really help you there.
